IFBC Holds High-Level Meeting with ( Atout France – The France Tourism Development Agency ) to Strengthen Tourism Cooperation

On Monday, 29th June 2026, the Iraqi-French Business Council (IFBC), led by ( Mr. أدهم الفخار – Advisor to the Prime Minister for International Investment Affairs ), held a high-level meeting with ( Atout France – The France Tourism Development Agency ), in Paris.

The meeting was attended by ( Mr. Thaer Wahib Hassan – Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Paris ), alongside:

• A distinguished delegation of Iraqi business leaders.

• Mr. Haider Al-Dujaili – President of the Iraqi Association of Travel and Tourism Companies.

• Ms. Havin Gulabakh – Owner of Wardat Al-Rafidain Company, Sulaymaniyah.

Discussions focused on strengthening Iraqi-French cooperation in the tourism sector and exploring the framework for a national tourism strategy for Iraq. Both sides exchanged views on tourism development, investment opportunities, and long-term collaboration to support the growth of Iraq’s tourism industry.
