( IFBC ) and ( The French Veterinary Medicines and Diagnostics Industry Association SIMV ) to explore cooperation opportunities

On Thursday, April 23, 2026, a meeting was held with ( the French Veterinary Medicines and Diagnostics Industry Association SIMV ) to explore cooperation opportunities in the livestock and agricultural sectors in Iraq, particularly regarding the “Stray Dog Control Strategies” project adopted by the Iraqi Prime Minister’s Office.

The meeting was led by ( Mr. أدهم الفخار, Advisor to the Prime Minister ) , with the participation of ( Dr. Basem AlAdhadh, Advisor to the Prime Minister for Agricultural Affairs and Livestock ), and ( Mrs. Zina Yaqoub Youssef, Board Member and expert in Agriculture and Livestock Affairs )

The meeting discussed veterinary public health programs, rabies prevention strategies, and opportunities for developing partnership agreements between leading international companies and Iraqi stakeholders in this sector.
