IFBC Holds High-Level Meeting with the ( City of Paris ) to Advance Cultural and Investment Cooperation

On Wednesday, 1st July 2026, the Iraqi-French Business Council (IFBC), led by ( Mr. أدهم الفخار – Advisor to the Prime Minister for International Investment Affairs ), held a high-level meeting with the City of Paris (Mairie de Paris), represented by ( Ms. Audrey Pulvar – Deputy Mayor of Paris ).

The meeting was graciously hosted by the ( City of Paris, with the generous support of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Paris ), under the patronage of ( Mr. Thaer Wahib Hassan – Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Paris ).

The Iraqi delegation was joined by:

• Mr. Haider Al-Tamimi – Consultant, Office of the Prime Minister

• Mr. Ahmed Salman – Legal Advisor to the Council

• Mr. Bassam Al-Ateia – Member of the Board of Directors

• Mr. Maythem Al-Asadi – Member of the Board of Directors

Discussions focused on activating the cooperation agreement between the ( City of Baghdad and the City of Paris ), including the establishment of the ( Baghdad Cultural Forum in Paris ) as a platform for promoting cultural exchange and strengthening people-to-people ties between Iraq and France.
