IFBC Delegation Visits the (French Sénat) in Paris to Strengthen Iraq–France Parliamentary Relations

On Tuesday, 30th June 2026, the Iraqi-French Business Council (IFBC), led by ( Mr. أدهم الفخار – Advisor to the Prime Minister for International Investment Affairs ), accompanied by ( Mr. Thaer Wahib Hassan – Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Paris ), visited the ( French Senate ) for a high-level meeting with ( Senator Claude Kern ) and ( Senator Hélène CONWAY-MOURET ).

During the meeting, the ( French Senate ) presented a commemorative Senate badge to ( Mr. Adham Al-Fakhar ) in recognition of the strong spirit of friendship and the longstanding relationship between France and Iraq.

The meeting also included an official invitation to the Senators to visit the ( City of Baghdad ) to witness firsthand Iraq’s ongoing development, economic progress, and growing opportunities for international cooperation.
