The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between the private sector and public institutions, addressing key topics such as the banking system, trade finance, the role of insurance, and public–private partnership opportunities. The French-Iraqi Business Council is proud to showcase a recent achievement by one of its member companies, Al-Hajrass Contracting & Construction, led by Managing Director and Council member Mr. Haider Subeih Al-Tamimi. The company successfully completed a strategic infrastructure project in Baghdad, involving the relocation of key water transmission pipelines (900mm, 1000mm, and 1200mm in diameter) in coordination with the Directorate of Roads and Bridges and Baghdad Municipality.
