Earthlink Sponsors Digital Space Forum in Baghdad

On November 18, 2024, Earthlink sponsored the Digital Space Forum in Baghdad, attended by government, parliamentary, private sector, and academic leaders. Mr. Alaa Jassim Mousa, Earthlink’s CEO and Head of Communications Sector in our council, participated in this key event.

The forum highlighted Earthlink’s pivotal role in building Iraq’s digital infrastructure through extensive fiber optic deployment and connecting critical institutions like the Ministry of Interior. It also emphasized the need for updated legislation on information security and AI, promoting international cooperation and innovation in e-commerce and fintech.
