The Second Meeting of the French-Iraqi Business Council and First Anniversary Celebration

The second board meeting of the French-Iraqi Business Council was held on May 27, 2025, at the historic Cercle de l’Union Interalliée in Paris, marking the first anniversary of the Council’s establishment under shared French-Iraqi leadership.
The meeting brought together board members from both countries to discuss future strategies for strengthening bilateral partnerships and exploring investment opportunities between France and Iraq. Iraqi Delegation:

During the meeting, both sides addressed various topics related to enhancing cooperation and developing collaboration mechanisms across key sectors. The French delegation expressed their appreciation for the dedicated efforts of the Iraqi board members, emphasizing their essential role in advancing the Council’s mission and strengthening economic relations between the two countries. Following the meeting, a celebration was held to commemorate the first anniversary of the Council’s founding, with participation from both delegations. This event reaffirmed the Council’s commitment to serving as a vital platform for advancing French-Iraqi economic relations and promoting constructive dialogue between institutions in both nations.
