Planning Ministry and Council Discuss Activation of French Loan for Development Projects

Graciously hosted by (Dr. Maher Johan – Deputy       Minister of Planning) and his advanced Staff, a meeting was held, attended by (Mr. Adham Al-Fakhar – Chairman of the council) and (Mr. Saad Al-Naimi – Council Member)

 Several important topics were discussed, including agreeing to coordinate a meeting with the French Embassy in Iraq and the Ministry of Planning to discuss mechanisms for activating the French loan to Iraq and the obstacles preventing its implementation.

As well, discussing the proposal from Our council regarding the use of the French loan funds to support private sector projects, particularly in areas such as environmental, digital, integrated solutions, and economic cities, as these are infrastructure projects for economic development.
