IFBC Holds Its ( Fourth Joint Board Meeting ) and Celebrates the ( Second Anniversary of Its Establishment )

On Wednesday, 1st July 2026, the Iraqi-French Business Council (IFBC) held its ( Fourth Joint Board Meeting and celebrated the Second Anniversary of its establishment ) at the historic headquarters of ( TotalEnergies ) in Paris

The Iraqi delegation was led by ( Mr. Adham Al Fakhar – Advisor to the Prime Minister for International Investment Affairs ), accompanied by ( Mr. Thaer Wahib Hassan – Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Paris ), together with ( Ms. Rusul Hazem Al-Shakir – Head of the Economic Section at the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Paris ) and ( members of the Embassy’s diplomatic team ).

The meeting was graciously hosted by IFBC Board Member from the French side:

The meeting was attended by members of the Iraqi delegation, including:

• Mr. Ahmed Salman – Legal Advisor to the Council

• Mr. Maythem Al-Asadi – Member of the Board of Directors

• Mr. Bassam Al-Ateia – Member of the Board of Directors

• Mrs. Rasha Nadeem – Member of the Board of Directors

• Mrs. Zina Yacoub Yousif – Member of the Board of Directors

• Mrs. Roaa Raad Alhassany – Member of the Board of Directors

• Mrs. Nahla Elias – Honorary Member of the Council

• Mr. Haider Al-Tamimi – Consultant, Office of the Prime Minister

• Dr. Bashar Neamah – Council Member

• Mr. Thamer Al-Ameri – Council Member

The meeting was also attended by:

• Mr. Haider Al-Dujaili – President of the Iraqi Travel and Tourism Association

• Ms. Havin GulahBakh – Tourism Sector Expert, Sulaymaniyah

Discussions focused on the Council’s future strategic priorities and opportunities to transform shared ideas into sustainable business partnerships and investment initiatives between Iraq and France.
