The (Engineering projects meeting) attended by the Council members and (Mr. Dhulfqar Al-Mukassousi – Head of the Iraqi Engineers Syndicate) and (Ms. Nahla Jajo – Regional Director for Africa and the Middle East at Arte Charpentier Architectes) to discuss the Council’s directions regarding this sector and enhancing partnership opportunities with French companies and institutions.
A meeting on the (Digital Services Industry) was held at the Council’s headquarters, attended by the council members, headed by (Mr. Bassam Al-Ateia – Board Member & Head of the Digital Industry Sector), discussing activating the opportunities with the French side to support and enhance this sector.
Attended by (Mr. Qusay Al-Haidari – Specialist in International Relations), (Mr. Adel Al-Saydali – Iraqi Businessman in the United States specializing in project management), and (Mr. Munther Al-Aswad –Al-Hamra Insurance Company), headed by (Dr. Yasser Sabri – Head of the Insurance Sector at the Council) discussing the Council’s directions for the insurance sector and establishing strategic agreements activating opportunities with the French side.
Attended by (Dr. Ihsan Al-Naqeeb – Chairman of the Pharmaceutical Media Association) and (Dr. Hussam Nouri – Board Member of the Pharmaceutical Media Association) and (Dr. Ahmed Abdul Jalil – Vice Chairman of the Iraqi Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association). Headed by the Chiefs of the (Pharmaceutical Industries Sector in the Council). Discussing the pharmaceutical industries to activate the opportunities with the French institutions to support and assist this sector.
Honored to have (Mr. Basim Al-Adhadh – Advisor to the Prime Minister for the Reform management Cell) with the presence of (Mrs. Zina Yaqoub – Board Member) to discuss the agricultural affairs. Focusing on developing business and investment opportunities in support of the council’s goals and objectives in the agricultural and livestock sectors.
A gracious hosting by (Mr. Salam Zaer – CEO of the National Holding Company) at the company’s headquarters to learn about its activities and discussing important proposals to support the council’s members’ projects. The visit also highlighted the National Holding Company’s outstanding achievements as a successful model for the (private sector economy), along with the support required from the government.
A dialogue meeting was held at the German Embassy in Baghdad with Ms. Heike Ehrenberg, Economic Affairs Advisor, and Mr. Hashem Al-Rakabi, Political Affairs Advisor at the German Embassy in Baghdad. A group of businesswomen and businessmen from the council attended the meeting. During the meeting, the prospects of economic partnerships and business opportunities between the two countries were discussed
A gracious hosting by (Mr. Mohammed Al-Darraji – Technical Affairs Advisor to the Prime Minister) for the council members. The meeting focused on discussing the mechanisms of (governmental loans) and how to activate them for (service and digital projects) which represent the most significant and largest sector in the economies of developed nations.
A gracious hosting by His Excellency (Mr. Hayan Abdelghani – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil) for the Chairman of the Council at the Ministry of Oil headquarters. Discussing avenues for joint cooperation to achieve the council’s objectives, support its initiatives, and explore projects of the council’s members in the oil sector.
His Excellency the French Ambassador hosted a reception at his residence for the council’s delegation to Paris, returning to Iraq. Attended by (Mrs. Dunya Al-chalabi – Total Energy) and a distinguished group of prominent businessmen and businesswomen. Highlighting the achievements of the largest business delegation’s visit to, along with the French government’s support for the development of economic relations between the two countries.
