The Iraqi-French Business Council proudly announces the inauguration of the International Company’s factory for producing medical and industrial gases in Baghdad, led by our esteemed council member Mr. Mohammad Shaker Mahmoud, CEO of Alam Al-Ma’aden Company. The factory, officially opened by Prime Minister Mr. Mohammad Shia’ Al-Sudani on June 14, 2025, is the first of its kind in Iraq. It produces medical and industrial gases such as oxygen, nitrogen, argon, and carbon dioxide, with a production capacity of 450 tons per month, covering most of the Iraqi market’s needs.
