On Wednesday, 1st July 2026, the Iraqi-French Business Council (IFBC), led by ( Mr. \u0623\u062f\u0647\u0645 \u0627\u0644\u0641\u062e\u0627\u0631<\/a> \u2013 Advisor to the Prime Minister for International Investment Affairs ), held a high-level meeting with the City of Paris (Mairie de Paris), represented by ( Ms. Audrey Pulvar<\/a> \u2013 Deputy Mayor of Paris ).

The meeting was graciously hosted by the ( City of Paris, with the generous support of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Paris ), under the patronage of ( Mr. Thaer Wahib Hassan \u2013 Charg\u00e9 d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Paris ).

The Iraqi delegation was joined by:

\u2022 Mr. Haider Al-Tamimi \u2013 Consultant, Office of the Prime Minister

\u2022 Mr. Ahmed<\/a> Salman \u2013 Legal Advisor to the Council

\u2022 Mr. Bassam Al-Ateia<\/a> \u2013 Member of the Board of Directors

\u2022 Mr. Maythem Al-Asadi<\/a> \u2013 Member of the Board of Directors

Discussions focused on activating the cooperation agreement between the ( City of Baghdad and the City of Paris ), including the establishment of the ( Baghdad Cultural Forum in Paris ) as a platform for promoting cultural exchange and strengthening people-to-people ties between Iraq and France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
