On Tuesday, 30th June 2026, the Iraqi-French Business Council (IFBC), led by ( Mr. \u0623\u062f\u0647\u0645 \u0627\u0644\u0641\u062e\u0627\u0631<\/a> \u2013 Advisor to the Prime Minister for International Investment Affairs ), accompanied by ( Mr. Thaer Wahib Hassan \u2013 Charg\u00e9 d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Paris ), visited the ( French Senate ) for a high-level meeting with ( Senator Claude Kern ) and ( Senator H\u00e9l\u00e8ne CONWAY-MOURET<\/a> ).

During the meeting, the ( French Senate ) presented a commemorative Senate badge to ( Mr. Adham Al-Fakhar ) in recognition of the strong spirit of friendship and the longstanding relationship between France and Iraq.

The meeting also included an official invitation to the Senators to visit the ( City of Baghdad ) to witness firsthand Iraq’s ongoing development, economic progress, and growing opportunities for international cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
