Prime Minister Meets Major French Companies

Prime Minister Ali Falih Al-Zaidi received the heads and representatives of major French companies in Paris to discuss investment opportunities and ways to expand the presence of French companies in Iraq.

The Prime Minister affirmed that Iraq views France as a trusted and strategic partner, highlighting the wide range of investment opportunities available in the sectors of energy, industry, infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, railways, and other key fields. He also reaffirmed the government’s readiness to provide support, facilitation, and a suitable investment environment for French companies.

The Iraqi-French Business Council (IFBC) welcomes these orientations and the opportunities presented in the Development Road Project, energy and gas projects, mineral resources, and infrastructure, which contribute to strengthening the Iraqi-French economic partnership and opening new horizons for French investment in Iraq.
