High-profile Meeting with the National Investment Commission of Iraq ( NIC )

His Excellency ( Mr. Adel Dakhil Al-Yassiry – Chairman of the National Investment Commission ), received a delegation from the Iraqi–French Business Council (IFBC), headed by ( Mr. Adham Al Fakhar – Chairman of the Council ) , at the headquarters of the National Investment Commission ( NIC ).

The meeting was attended by ( Eng. Salar Mohammed Amin – Deputy Chairman of the National Investment Commission ) , along with the following members of the IFBC delegation:

– Mr. Ghadeer Al-Attar – IFBC Board Member
– Mr. Muqdad Aljuboori – IFBC Board Member
– Mr. Wamid Al-Yasiri – Council Member
– Mr. Saad Al-Nuaimi – Council Member
– Dr. Bashar Neamah – Council Member
– Mr. Mohammed Shakir – Council Member
– Mr. Thikwan Al-Saffar – Council Member
– Mr. Yusry Yunis – Council Member

The meeting focused on strengthening economic and investment partnerships between Iraq and France, as well as exploring mechanisms to attract French companies and investors to the Iraqi market.

The discussions also addressed mechanisms for promoting Iraqi investment opportunities across a number of strategic sectors, including transportation, industrial cities, digital industries, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, agriculture and livestock, logistics, higher education, and the Development Road Project.

Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening the role of the Iraqi private sector and developing partnerships with French institutions and companies, with the aim of supporting sustainable economic development and contributing to the growth of the national economy across all governorates of Iraq.

During the meeting, the Iraqi–French Business Council also had the honor of presenting an ( Honorary Membership Certificate ) to His Excellency ( Mr. Adel Al-Yassiry – Chairman of the National Investment Commission ) , in recognition of his role in supporting investment and strengthening economic cooperation between Iraq and France.
