Reconstruction and Investment Dialogue at ( Baghdad Mayoralty ) to Advance the Capital’s Development

Reconstruction and Investment Dialogue was convened at the headquarters of ( Baghdad Mayoralty ), graciously hosted by ( H.E. Eng. Ammar Mousa Kadhim – Mayor of Baghdad ).

The meeting was attended by a distinguished delegation of IFBC members, led by ( Eng. Adham Al Fakhar – Advisor to the Prime Minister ), and served as future development and investment priorities of the capital Historical City ( Baghdad ) .

Discussions focused on several shared visions and strategic investment opportunities through long-term public-private partnerships for the development and operation of key sectors, including:

• Urban services and infrastructure

• Smart parking systems for Baghdad

• Recreational and entertainment destinations

• Alternative main Road networks

• Waste recycling and environmental sustainability projects

• Economic Cities and Business Centers

Also explored initiatives aimed at preserving Baghdad’s historical and cultural identity, including the proposal to establish the ( Baghdad Notables Salon ) under the chairmanship of H.E. the Mayor of Baghdad, as well as efforts to revive and restore the historic names of the city’s districts, neighborhoods, and streets.
