Meeting Between the French – Iraqi Business Council and the Prime Minister’s Advisor for Banking Affairs

A formal meeting was held between the Iraqi-French Business Council and Dr. Saleh Mahoud, Advisor to the Prime Minister for Banking Affairs, on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at Al-Zaqura Palace in Baghdad, with the participation of a group of prominent Iraqi business leaders.

The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between the private sector and public institutions, addressing key topics such as the banking system, trade finance, the role of insurance, and public–private partnership opportunities.

This engagement reflects the Council’s commitment to advancing constructive economic dialogue and expanding cooperation between Iraq and its international partners.
