IFBC Joins Celebration of the French National Day

On the occasion of Bastille Day, the National Day of the French Republic, and in response to a gracious invitation extended by His Excellency the Ambassador of France to Iraq, a delegation of members from the Iraqi-French Business Council (IFBC) took part in the official celebration held in Baghdad on July 13, 2025.

The event was a valuable opportunity for IFBC members to engage with representatives from the French Embassy, the diplomatic corps, and the broader business community. Discussions highlighted the shared vision of strengthening economic cooperation and developing strategic partnerships between Iraq and France.

To mark the occasion, the Council presented a commemorative gift to His Excellency the Ambassador. Designed by Dr. Bashar Ni’ma, IFBC member and Head of the Pharmaceutical Industries Sector, the gift symbolized the profound heritage of Mesopotamian civilization, drawing inspiration from the Epic of Gilgamesh and Enkidu, and reflecting the region’s early contributions to medicine and pharmacy.

IFBC extends its heartfelt appreciation to His Excellency the Ambassador and the Embassy’s distinguished staff for their warm hospitality.
