Dr. Rafe Al-Rawi, Head of the Healthcare Sector at the French-Iraqi Business Council and CEO of Al-Andalus Hospital in Baghdad, is a key figure in advancing private healthcare in Iraq.

Al-Andalus Hospital is Iraq’s premier specialized oncology center, uniquely equipped with a fully integrated cyclotron system installed by GE Healthcare. The hospital produces FDG (fluorodeoxyglucose), a vital radiopharmaceutical for PET scans, on-site, ensuring high standards of cancer diagnosis and treatment.

To maximize safety, radioactive materials are swiftly transported to injection rooms via specially designed internal elevators, minimizing exposure risks.
